4D ultrasound

Last week all our family gathered to see our sweet baby boy's ultrasound.  We have been looking so forward to seeing if we could tell if this little guy looks like Jack or Max (seeing that Jack and Max look nothing alike). Our appointment was after lunch so Will came home early and we took the boys to lunch before we had to be there.  After lunch, Will was telling the boys how excited he was to see our newest addition.  Jack chimed in how excited he was and I did too.  And then Max said, "Not me!" ha ha I know it sounds like Max is totally not excited about his new baby brother and he may not be 100% but you have to know Max.  If you want to go left, he wants to go right.  If you want to go outside, he would rather stay inside.  Do you see what I mean?  Will and I can see a great career as a lawyer in his future.  In fact, Will's mom told me a few weeks ago that she had decided that she wasn't going to argue with Max anymore.  He loves to argue!!! So maybe a few weeks before the baby gets here, we will all talk about how we aren't excited so Max can be excited for a while!!

Our sweet baby boy decided that hiding his face with his foot was much more fun than giving us a preview.  The nurse tried to move me around hoping it would move him around to no luck.  We got a few shots here and there but no clear view of his profile.  I must say though he has an adorable little foot!!  I went ahead to my 28 week appointment with the hope that he might move and we could try again after the appointment.  I found out that I passed my glucose test!! Yeah!! and I am just getting bigger and bigger each time.  Don't you hate that part!! Since I have a history of preterm labor I will start seeing my doctor every 2 weeks now instead of 4.  It does make me feel better to come more often because everything started around this time with Max and I am SOOO hopefully that it won't this time.  After my appointment, we tried one more time to sneak a peek and this time he had both feet in front of his face!! ha ha  He may be a real prankster!! So we left with 2 pictures-one of his sweet little foot and the other of his well you know!! ha ha Great for the baby book!  ha ha

The nurse said we could try again at my 30 week appointment and we might, but I'm not sure yet.
