Catch up time

Sorry its been awhile since my last post. We have been super busy and I can't quite find the time to keep my blog up to date. I have been trying to finish a post about our trip to the beach for about a week. Hopefully it will get finished soon. I love my camera (Nikon D3000) but sometimes it is a little overwhelming with all the pictures you take. For instance, I took over 600 pictures at the beach. I know you all love my family in particular my sweet, adorable boys but I don't think you want to see ALL my beach pics. And the 4th of July...and birthday parties...lots of catching up!!

My Mom had a pretty major surgery last week, so I am trying to visit her as much as possible. She has been suffering with a lot of pain for some time now and then was having shooting pains down her right arm. Well after tons of tests, the dr. discovered that several of my Mom's disks in her neck were deteriorating. On Thursday, the dr. fixed 3 of her disks with metal plates and screws and such and hopefully this will reduce or eliminate all her pain.

Max got a new bed this weekend. He LOVES it! Max has always been a rough sleeper. Last night though, he slept all NIGHT in his new bed. Oh how I hope this continues!!!

I had a little injury with changing out the old bed with the new one. I love taking things apart and putting them back together, so I decided to take the old bed down while Will and the boys were eating dinner. I did pretty good getting it all apart, but I didn't make sure the headboard was leaning on the wall. And it fell on my leg!! And it hurt!! BAD!!! I caught the weight of the headboard on my calf muscle!! Here's my boo boo!!

I hope that your mom's pain has eased! That just sounds like it hurts. I'm glad that Max likes his bed - I just love it! And ouch! You have one good calf muscle though :) I'm right there with you - I love to take apart and put back together!!

That Boo Boo looks bad. I hope Jack continues to sleep through the night. FYI- I hate to take things apart I respect your ability to even attempt things like that!
