Max is 5 Months Old!

My Sweet Little Boy turned 5 months this weekend! It amazes me how time flies! Max is such a sweet child! I am trying so hard to treasure each little milestone that he reaches because I know it won't be long until he is walking & talking.

I love his little birthmark on his forehead! It has already lighten up so much I am pretty sure it will disappear in his hair line so I want to enjoy it will it is visible!

I love his crazy hair! The other night we were eating at Logan's and I had Max facing me talking to him when a lady came up to our table with her little girl about Max's age. She said she had to come over because our children had the same hairstyle! Sure enough, Max & Jessica(little girl's name) looked bald from the front but oh no a patch ole hair in the back. heh heh

He has the sweetest gut laugh that will brighten any mood. He has officially started rolling over-I have not seen it yet but I know he has done it because I have laid him on his play mat on his back and came back to find him on his stomach. He knows I want to see it so he doesn't do it in front of me yet.

He LOVES his cereal at night. Around 8pm he starts whining and then he flat out crys while I am making it. Tonight he cried in between bites. My wrist hurt because I was shoveling it in so fast. As you can see, eating is definitely not a problem for Max!! ha ha

He has also discovered his feet. He loves them!! But, he does not like socks on them. If at all possible, he reaches and pulls until the socks are gone!! I think he would love to put his toes in his mouth, but as you can see it is not possible!!

His two bottom teeth are breaking through right now. They started showing under the skin about 2 months ago. We took him to the dr. around 3 months with a ear infection and the dr. asked if he had been drooling alot. I said yes but I thought it was because he was sick. Nope-teeth! Jack's first tooth didn't come in until 9 months so I was NOT expecting Max's so soon, but it proves that each one is different!

He is going through this phase where he wants me & sometimes only me!!! I would love to say, "Oh, I hate it!" but I don't!! Tonight at Lacy's house several people tried to hold him and he would do good for a little while but then he would see me & BIG tears would start...I know that it is a pain sometimes but it does make my heart melt that he loves me so!

He has really started keeping an eye on his big brother-it may be because there is a chance he may have something thrown at him-but it makes me so happy that they have each other. He loves when Jack plays with him and talks to him, he just lights up!

Will said the other night after the kids had fallen asleep on our way home that they automatically have a best friend; someone to play with when they are young and someone to confide in with they are older. I love my boys!!

I love you my Sweet Baby Boy! I can't wait to see what you get into in the next few months!!
