A day out with Thomas

Sunday after church we left out for Calera, AL for a day out with Thomas the Train! Max is so into trains right now and especially Thomas and his friends, so he was super excited to ride on a real train.  Jack is at a really funny age where he said the whole way that he wasn't excited about the kiddie train and he didn't like Thomas, but when we got there he was totally into it.  Of course, Sam was beside himself with excitement. (enter sarcasm) ha ha He did love looking at all the people and trains!  It was a great trip with a real train ride and tons of fun activities for the boys! They got to meet Sir Topham Hatt, play with a ton of trains, play putt putt golf, jump in a big bouncy house-doesn't get much better than that!!

On the train ride, we actually got to see Santa Claus and Ms. Claus in their non Christmas gear.  They also ride on the Polar Express near Christmas but they told all the kids on the train that they were on vacation right now checking if kids are being naughty or nice. The best part of it was that Santa had a TON of tattoos and was wearing his hair in a ponytail.  Needless to say, our boys had a lot of questions about that.  Jack decided that it had to be part of his disguise.  We quickly agreed! ha ha

Here are some pictures from our day with Thomas!!
