November and December (the short version)

November was great! My and Will's birthdays are both in November so it is always one of my favorite months.  I love when the holidays begin, so I always look at our birthdays as the beginning,  We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with all the festivities:  My Dad's house, Will's Mom House, Thanksgiving Breakfast with my Mom and sister Alice and her crew at our house, and then Thanksgiving Afternoon Lunch at Will's Granny house.  Sam had a wonderful 1st Thanksgiving with all the trimmings.  He loved watching everyone in his Bumbo chair.  Jack and Max had wonderful parties at preschool.  Jack had a lil program in the lunchroom and he did great.  Jack is not our child that likes to be the center of attention so we were super proud of him for standing in front of all those parents and singing the songs.  Max's class brought in all their favorite foods for their party.  Max chose hot dogs, so I made the lil cocktail weenies wrapped in crescent rolls.  There was all types of chicken fingers, popcorn chicken, chicken biscuits, and chicken nuggets.  It was really cute!!

My Mom, Alice, and I left out at around 10pm Thanksgiving Night for the craziness of Black Friday!! We had a wonderful time. Alice and I have been the past 3 years, but we recruited my Mom this year. This year was full of tons of laughter even tears and I actually had a camera stolen from my hand during one of the many nighttime rushes!! It was crazy!!!

We had some friends and family over for the Iron Bowl!! I was proud of my Max for going against his brother and dad and rooting for Mom's team!! War Eagle!! Unfortunately, our team lost and Dad and Jack's team won!! It was a great night though.

December was full of fun!! We went early this year to Santa's Village and I am sooo thankful!! We didn't have to wait in line for Santa and we were back in the car about an hour after we arrived. SCORE!! On a bad note, I had matching outfits for the boys. Not totally matchy, matchy but coordinating. Sam BLEW out his diaper on the way to Santa's Village!!! I put him in the back seat to change his diaper only to find that it is EVERYWHERE!! And in his CHRISTMAS OUTFIT!!! So (don't judge me) I took all his clothes off and got all the poop off and then put them right back on him. I know, I know!! But I had to have the picture!! ha ha As soon as we finished, I put other clothes on him. Poor Santa got a stinky Sam that night. The big boys had such a great time this year.

December was always important because both my Mom and Will's Dad celebrated their 60th birthdays. It was great to celebrate with them!!

Then of course...CHRISTMAS!! Parties, dinners, FUN!! We enjoyed my Dad's Christmas a week early so we wouldn't have to rush home. We celebrated Christmas Eve at my Mom's house for lunch and then Will's parents for dinner. Then SANTA came!!! After the boys enjoyed playing with all their new toys, we got ready and headed to church. After church, we went to Will's Granny house and then we visited Will's Grandma that night. The boys had an amazing Christmas and lil Sam had a great time exploring all the goodies!!

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY, but BLESSED, BLESSED, BLESSED!!

Our Elf, Thomas left the boys a message in marshmellows!

The week after Christmas Will and I took the big boys to Nashville to see the Madagascar Ice. They had a blast!! It was so much fun!!
