Thanksgiving Week

Sorry for the long delay through Thanksgiving. We had a pretty rough week starting with Thanksgiving afternoon. We received news right after lunch that Will's 1st cousin Joseph Malone was killed in a car accident. Joseph was only 21 yrs. old. Even typing this now, my heart breaks. He was an amazing person. It has been very difficult for his family and all of us in his extended family. Please continue to pray for them because this holiday season is going to be hard.

Early Monday morning after his funeral on Sunday, Jack woke us up around 5am with the stomach virus. Max and I started getting sick on Wednesday morning and Will finished off the week with it. You forget how bad the stomach virus is until it strikes again. Well, it will be A WHILE before I forget. It was terrible. I lost 5 lbs in less than 12hours and Will lost 7lbs. YUCK!!!

We are finally back to our old selves. Thank Goodness!! One good thing from the week was Will bought himself a 4 wheeler. He has been wanting one of his own for at least 6 yrs. and he finally broke down and bought it. We have already really enjoyed it. The boys have these HUGE helmets and they seem to like them pretty good. I will take some pics of it soon with the boys riding.

Here is a pic of my sister Alice & I on Black Friday. This was our first year to brave it out with all the crazies early Friday morning. She came to my house at 3:30am and we were at Target by 4am!! It was so much fun!! We will definitely be out next year!!
