Day full of Friends, Fun, & Family!

I had a wonderful day yesterday! I dropped the kids off with Will's sisters-Thanks!!- and went to Huntsville for a HAIRCUT!! Getting my haircut is one of my favorite get aways!! I love Jackie(my hairstylist)! She and I have become the best of friends! About once a month or so, we get together with our hubbys and play a board game called Cashflow. It's alot like Monopoly but it teaches you how to use your money wisely to get out of the rat race. We have a great time & are planning our future which includes a Caribbean vacation when we are out of the Rat Race! She says I can bring a manny along for the kids. ha ha

After my haircut, I met Whitney & Noah for lunch. It worked out so well because I called Whitney just to catch up and she was on her way to Huntsville, so we were able to visit! It was great spending a little bit of time with them. Noah has grown so much since I saw him last.

I picked up the boys and we left for Birmingham. One of my dearest friends from college, Marianne had her 3rd child on Wednesday and I really wanted to see them, so we took off to see the new addition. I laugh at Marianne because she has 2 little boys and now a daughter, but several years ago she told me that boys were the way to go. Those girls are just a bunch of drama!! ha ha She said yesterday at the hospital that she knows God is laughing at her now!! Sweet little Sydney is the most precious baby!! She is so little! She weighed 5lbs. 9oz. when she was born and yesterday she was down to 5lbs.5oz. I know that Max was only a few ounces more but I don't remember him being that small. He looked SOO big next to her. It was a great visit. I will say that going to a hospital that you have never been to before is difficult, esp. with 2 kids. I parked near what I thought was the Women's wing, but when we got inside the receptionist handed me a list of directions. I knew then...I did not park close. ha ha

I am not sure what my boys are doing in this picture, but oh well!! Jack looks a little out of it! ha ha Did Max do something to him? ha ha

After visiting Marianne, we went to my Dad's house. Yesterday was his 57th birthday. He will love me posting that!! ha ha We got there just in time for dinner and then we went out and got his birthday cake. I MUST recommend Dairy Queen's ice cream blizzard cakes!! I had one a long time ago, but I don't remember it being THAT good!! We had a great time!!

Check out Jack's pants? Don't worry he didn't wear those all day! He had already gotten comfortable in his pj pants!! Poor Max really wanted some cake!! Can't you tell?

This morning we made our way back to North Alabama!! Will is on his way home and we can't wait to see him!!
