Santa's Village

Monday night we took the kids to Santa's Village in Huntsville. It is so much fun for the little ones! Will's parents met us there to help with the kids and enjoy the village with them. Jack had a great time! What a difference a year makes! Last year, he didn't really care about any of it but now he is SOOOO into going everywhere and trying it all. Max was just cold!! His little nose was so red!! It was about 20 degrees out but it was worth it for all the fun. Jack loved the penguin and the bear that walked around. I was afraid it would frighten him but he walked right up to them and said Merry Christmas! In fact I think he talked to the bear about 5 times. Everyone said that this could be the year that Jack wouldn't sit in Santa's lap so I was a little nervous about his reaction. We talked about it several times that Santa was awesome and couldn't wait to hear what he wanted but you never know. When it was his turn, you could tell that he was scared but he would not have told it. He walked up to Santa sat in his lap and said Merry Christmas! He told him that he wanted a Combine and Santa looked at me like What? I explained that he wanted a John Deere Combine and he understood. Max did great too! Truth be told, he really didn't care one way or another. I have to say that is the best Santa! He seems so patient and kind!! It takes a great man to seat with children for HOURS on end!! Overall, it was a great night! A little chilly, but great!
